Lakeside Daily Mile track

Last year, the Parish Council provided financial support to enable Lakeside School to put in an all weather track around the perimeter of the school grounds. With the school re-opening following the first lockdown, this was very well timed and has been well used. When we agreed the funding, it was clear that this would help children, teachers and parents get exercise and fresh air with all the physical and mental benefits that this brings. With the Covid pandemic, the existence of a good size track has been really helpful to the school.

Thanks to David Young, one of our Parish Councillors and Chair of Governors at Lakeside School, we now have some photos of the track.
