Parish Council Community Grants

The Parish Council has an approved Community Grants Scheme. Details of the scheme and application forms are available here.

The Parish Council has limited resources to offer to organisations and individuals whose projects would not succeed without a small amount of local financial support. We are looking for projects which directly benefit people living in the Parish. We will take into consideration how many people would benefit from a project and if the proposal would benefit disadvantaged or vulnerable residents. We welcome applications that maintain and enhance the built and natural character of the Parish, ensure a safe environment for residents, promote peoples' feeling of inclusion, provide for the safety and well-being of community members and projects that make a positive environmental impact.

Decisions on applications will be taken at our bi-monthly meetings and we will publicise the deadline dates for applications to be considered at these meetings. After a year of running the scheme, we will review its success and adapt accordingly.

The scheme is aimed at helping groups and individuals with smaller projects (under £500)  If you need support with a bigger project, then please by all means approach the Parish Council. We can still consider larger scale applications but would require significantly greater supporting documentation and a more detailed scrutiny process.

If you require any further information or guidance regarding this scheme please contact the Parish Clerk via clerk@uhpc.org.uk

If you require any assistance with the forms or would prefer them in an alternative format please do let us know.
