Many thanks to Simon, Bob and the Gloucestershire Police Crime Prevention team for another successful Bike Marking Event. This is the third time the Parish Council has worked with the team to put on a Cycle Security marking and registration event. We would normally have the event early in the year at the Village Hall, but had to wait until we were able to hold an event safely and decided to hold it outdoors by the Hillview Community Centre and Library.

It was really good to be able to hold this event again, given the sharp increase we have seen in bike thefts. It was made possible to hold this event by Andy and the team from Up Hatherley library opening up the some rest facilities for our volunteers and by the many people who volunteered to help on the day. Over 90 bikes of all shapes and sizes were brougt to be marked and we thought we would share some photos of the morning on this page.
